The Association for Terpen Research has been designated by the Dutch Tax Authorities as a Public Benefit Organization (ANBI). The RSIN/tax number is 8052.36.193.
As an ANBI, the association does not pay inheritance tax or gift tax for inheritances and donations it uses for the public interest. If the association provides subsidies in the general interest, no gift tax has to be paid. Donors to the association may deduct their donations from income or corporate tax.
The association's board members receive no compensation for their efforts. The association has no staff.
